In early spring find pink-and-white cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin. Outside the season find a cherry-blossom mural, sticker or souvenir. Photograph the blossoms.

Walk to Christiansborg Palace on Slotsholmen and find the long granite facade. Photograph it with the tower in view.
Spot Christianshavn canal boat
Walk into Christianshavn and find a wooden boat moored along one of its canals. Photograph the boat with the canal-house facades behind.
Spot churros con chocolate
Find a plate of churros next to a thick cup of hot chocolate (San Ginés is the classic; any churrería will do). Photograph the dunk.
Spot cobblestone (kočičí hlavy)
Find a cobblestone street in the old centre (literally "cat's heads" in Czech for the round paving stones). Photograph a stretch.
Spot De Adriaan windmill
Walk along the Spaarne and find De Adriaan windmill at Papentorenvest. Photograph the white sails against the sky.

Walk up Castle Hill to Halászbástya (Fisherman's Bastion) and find the white seven-spired terrace overlooking the Danube. Photograph the turrets.

Walk down Folkingestraat (the most beautiful shopping street in NL) and photograph a vintage shop or independent boutique.
Spot Giotto's Bell Tower
Find the Campanile di Giotto on Piazza del Duomo, the marble bell tower next to the cathedral. Photograph the patterned facade.
Spot Greyfriars Bobby
