Find a bistecca alla fiorentina (giant T-bone steak) on a restaurant menu or table. Photograph the slab.

Spot a Brera courtyard

Walk into the Pinacoteca di Brera courtyard and find the bronze Napoleon statue in the centre. Photograph the courtyard.

Spot a Brera narrow lane

Walk into the Brera district and find a charming narrow lane with a cafe terrace. Photograph the street.

Spot a Burano colourful house

Take a vaporetto to Burano and find the row of brightly painted fisherman's houses. Photograph a colourful canal-front.

Near the Vatican, find a religious-supply shop selling cardinal's red hats, bishop's crooks, rosaries (especially around Borgo Pio). Photograph the window.

Spot a Chianti wine bottle

Find a Chianti bottle (with the black rooster Gallo Nero seal for Chianti Classico) in a shop or restaurant. Photograph the rooster.

Spot a cicchetti bar (bacaro)

Find a bacaro (Venetian cicchetti bar) with crostini and ombre wine glasses on the counter. Photograph the spread.

Spot a Cova or Marchesi pastry window

Find Pasticceria Cova in the Quadrilatero or Marchesi 1824 in the Galleria. Photograph the historic pastry window.

Spot a David replica

Find Michelangelo's David (a replica in Piazza della Signoria, the original in the Accademia or a souvenir-shop apron). The marble man is everywhere. Photograph him.

Spot a Fiat 500

Find a classic Fiat 500 (the round little 1960s version, or even the modern one) parked on a cobblestone street. Photograph the small body.

Spot a Florence carriage (carrozza)

Find a horse-drawn carrozza waiting near the Duomo or Piazza della Repubblica. Photograph the carriage.

Find a Florence pietra serena cobblestone street. Photograph a stretch of the stone leading toward a landmark.

Spot a Florence gelato cone

Find a gelato cone with at least two flavours at a Florence gelateria (Vivoli, Gelateria dei Neri, Perché No, Carapina). Photograph the cone.
