Team finale: favorite find
Pick the most surprising or coolest thing your team discovered today. Take one final team photo with it (or near it). This is your closing shot of the lesson.
Team finale: favorite sign
As a team, pick the coolest, weirdest or funniest sign you found today. Take a final team photo with it. This is your closing shot of the lesson.
Team finale: most surprising find
Pick the most surprising or oldest thing your team discovered today. Take a final team photo with it (or in front of it). This is your closing shot of the history walk.
Team forest pose
As a team, hide partly behind a tree, log or bush so half of you are barely visible in the photo. Take the picture from a few steps away. Forest sneak attack pose.
Team math finale
As a team, hold up paper signs with numbers that add up to your team size (or that solve a small equation you came up with). Take a final team photo with all signs visible.
The classic stop sign
The headliner: the red octagonal STOP sign. Find one and take a team photo right next to it. In the US these are everywhere, so the real challenge is finding the most stylish one.
The main square
Almost every old town has a central square where things have been happening for centuries. Find it and take a team photo right in the middle of it.
Three circles
Find three perfect circles (a clock, a manhole, a wheel, a coin). Photograph them. Squares with rounded corners do not count.
Three different leaves
Collect three leaves with clearly different shapes (e.g. round, pointy, jagged). Lay them next to each other on the ground and photograph them side by side. Do not pick more than you need.
Three materials
Find three artworks made from three different materials (stone, metal, paint, wood, ceramic, glass). Photograph one of each, side by side.
Three roof shapes
Find three different roof shapes: pointed (triangular), flat, and curved or sloped. Photograph one of each.
Three triangles
Find three triangle shapes around you (a roof, a road sign, a piece of architecture, a fence). Photograph all three side by side or one after the other.
Time the traffic light
Find a traffic light. Time exactly how many seconds the green light stays green for cars. Repeat once to check. Write the number of seconds and photograph the light.
Traffic light timing
Find a traffic light. Record a short video of the light changing from one color to another. Bonus if a team member is in the shot and shouts "STOP" or "GO" at the right moment.
Tree taller than the team
Find a tree that is clearly taller than your whole team stacked on top of each other. Take a photo with your team standing at the base and the trunk going up out of the frame.
Yellow diamond warning
Find any yellow diamond-shaped warning sign (deer crossing, curve ahead, slippery road, falling rocks). Photograph it and write down what it warns drivers about.
Yield triangle
Find a YIELD sign: a downward-pointing red and white triangle. Take a team photo where everyone is pointing at the sign, like you just discovered it.
