The "185 Empty Chairs" memorial on the corner of Cashel and Madras Streets honours those who died in the 2011 quake. Find the white chairs and take a respectful group photo with the team standing alongside (not on) the memorial.
Arrowtown side trip
Historic Arrowtown is a 20-minute drive northeast, with gold-rush-era buildings and willow-lined Buckingham Street. If the team can spare an hour, drive over and take a group photo on Buckingham Street. Otherwise photograph any "Arrowtown" sign in Queenstown.
