ChangeQueenstown kick-off
The hunt begins! Find a classic Queenstown backdrop (Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables in the distance, an adventure-tour signboard) and take a group photo with the whole team in shot.
Railway Station gingerbread shot
The Dunedin Railway Station is one of the most photographed buildings in New Zealand: black basalt, white limestone, Royal Doulton tile floor inside. Find the front facade and take a group photo with the team posed under the clock tower.
Remarkables backdrop
The Remarkables mountain range frames every Queenstown view. Find a vantage point with the jagged ridge filling the background (the Steamer Wharf, Onsen Hot Pools road, the Skyline overlook) and take a group photo.
Riff Raff statue pose
On Victoria Street stands the Riff Raff statue, a bronze of Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror character (O'Brien lived in Hamilton as a teenager). Find the statue, line the team up and take a group photo where everyone does the Time Warp pose alongside him.
Riverbank picnic moment
Hamilton's riverside lawns are picnic-friendly. Find a spot on the bank, grab a coffee or a bakery roll from a nearby cafe and take a group photo with the team picnicking, river behind.
Riverside Market plate
Riverside Market on Oxford Terrace is the post-quake food-hall heart of the city. Order something local (Antarctic fish-and-chips, Canterbury lamb, a flat white) and take a group photo with everyone taking the first bite at the same time.
Robert Burns pose
The seated Robert Burns statue in the Octagon nods to Dunedin's Scottish founders. Find Burns (he is facing the cathedral, his back to the pub), line the team up around him and take a group photo in proper Burns-night reverence.
Rotorua finale
Final challenge. Find a beautiful Rotorua spot (the lakefront at golden hour, steam rising in Government Gardens at dusk, a Te Puia pou in evening light) and take an amazing closing group photo. Kia ora from the geothermal heart of Aotearoa!
Rotorua kick-off
The hunt begins! Find a classic Rotorua backdrop (a steaming vent in the park, a carved pou, the lakefront in the distance) and take a group photo with the whole team in shot.
Salt Hot Pools nod
The Mount Salt Hot Pools at the base of Mauao are filled with naturally heated saltwater. Find the entrance or the pools courtyard and take a group photo with the team posed at the gate. Slip in for a soak if time allows.
Shotover Jet shot
The Shotover Jet roars through the canyons north of Queenstown. If you can ride one, capture a group photo on the boat; otherwise find the Jet billboards along Gorge Road or at the Queenstown Visitor Centre and take a team photo in front of one.
Sky Tower look-up pose
The Sky Tower is the tallest freestanding structure in New Zealand. Step back across the road, lay the team flat on the pavement (or stand crouched) and take a group photo looking straight up at the tower with everyone in the frame.
Skyline luge ride
The Skyline Luge at the top of the gondola is a concrete go-kart track down the mountainside. Take a group photo or short video at the start line with helmets on, or capture a luge whizzing past with the team waving.
Soundshell pose
The white Soundshell faces the sea and was built as part of the post-quake rebuild. Find a vantage point on the lawn, line the team up and take a group photo with the shell behind everyone.
Speight's facade pose
The original Speight's Brewery has been brewing on Rattray Street since the 19th century. Find the front facade with the green Speight's sign and take a group photo with the team posed in front. Pop into the Ale House for a Pride of the South pint if time allows.
St Paul's Cathedral spires
St Paul's Cathedral rises over the Octagon with twin Gothic spires. Find an angle on the facade and take a group photo with the cathedral spires above the team.
Sulphur shock moment
Rotorua is famous for its sulphur smell from geothermal vents. Find a steaming vent (Kuirau Park has free public ones), get the team to comically pinch their noses and take a photo with the steam rising behind everyone.
Sunset over the bay
The Bay of Plenty has stunning sunrises and sunsets depending which side of the peninsula you are on. Time the team for a colour-filled sky, take a group photo with silhouettes against the warm light.
Surfboard or beach gear pose
Mount Maunganui is a surf town. Find a surfboard rental, a surf shop, a kite-surfer on the water or the lifeguard tower and take a group photo with the surf gear behind everyone.
Surrealist garden chess
The Surrealist Garden in Hamilton Gardens has a giant chess set and dripping clock features. Find the chess pieces and take a group photo where the team poses as if mid-game, two pieces deep into a draw.
Tahunanui Beach shot
Tahunanui Beach is Nelson's wide sandy stretch on Tasman Bay. Walk or drive 10 minutes south, take a group photo with the team posing barefoot on the sand, Tasman Bay and the mountains behind.
Tartan / Scottish nod
Dunedin is the Edinburgh of the South. Find a tartan storefront, a bagpipe statue, a Scottish flag or the kilted Robbie Burns Festival sign and take a group photo with the team showing their Scottish spirit.
Tauranga finale
Final challenge. Find a beautiful Tauranga spot (Main Beach at golden hour, The Strand at dusk, the harbour at sunset) and take an amazing closing group photo. Kia ora from the Bay of Plenty!
