Cable car classic

San Francisco still runs the world's last manually operated cable car system. Find a cable car (running, parked at a turnaround, or a track) and take a group photo with it clearly in frame.

Capital cheers

Find a spot with a D.C. landmark behind you, grab a coffee or a drink and take a group toast photo. To the capital!

Capital city kick-off

The hunt begins! Find a typical D.C. backdrop (a marble facade, a federal building, a row of cherry trees if in season) and take a group photo where everyone jumps in the air. Everyone off the ground or it does not count.

Vegas runs on chips. Find any casino floor (or a casino-themed photo wall, no need to gamble) and take a group photo where everyone is holding (or pretending to hold) a stack of chips. Poker faces mandatory.

The Strip lines up themed casinos that mimic Paris, Venice, ancient Rome and New York within walking distance. Take a group photo where each team member points at a different themed casino. The more themes captured, the better.

Cathedral bride pose

St. Louis Cathedral is the oldest cathedral in continuous use in the US. Take a group photo on Jackson Square with the three white spires behind you, the bride in a sash or tiara at the centre.

Navigate to Boston Common, America's oldest public park. Check in once the team is standing on its grass.

Checkpoint: Bourbon Street

Navigate to Bourbon Street, the famous nightlife strip of the French Quarter. Check in once the music gets louder than your group chat.

Checkpoint: Brooklyn Bridge

Navigate to the Manhattan-side entrance of the Brooklyn Bridge and check in once you can see the cables running over the East River.

Checkpoint: Cafe du Monde

Navigate to Cafe du Monde, the legendary 24-hour beignet stand at the French Market. Check in once the team can smell powdered sugar in the air.

Checkpoint: Centennial Park Parthenon

Navigate to the full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Centennial Park. Check in when the team is standing in front of its columns.

Time for some greenery. Navigate to Central Park and check in once the skyscrapers fade behind a wall of trees.

Checkpoint: Chicago Riverwalk

Navigate to the Chicago Riverwalk along the Chicago River. Check in once you can see boats passing under one of the bridges.

Checkpoint: Cloud Gate

Navigate to Cloud Gate, the giant mirrored sculpture better known as The Bean, in Millennium Park. Check in once your team can see itself reflected.

Checkpoint: Congress Bridge bats

Navigate to the Congress Avenue Bridge over Lady Bird Lake. Check in once the team is standing on or near the bridge.

Checkpoint: Country Music Hall of Fame

Navigate to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Check in once the giant note-shaped windows are in front of the team.

Checkpoint: Empire State Building

Navigate to the foot of the most iconic skyscraper in the world: the Empire State Building. Check in once the whole team is craning their necks upward.

Checkpoint: Faneuil Hall

Navigate to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market. Check in once the team can see the famous grasshopper weathervane.

Checkpoint: Fenway Park

Navigate to Fenway Park, the home of the Boston Red Sox. Check in outside the famous brick facade.
