Cheers on the Plein
The Plein is famous for its lively terraces, even politicians come here for a drink. Find a cosy terrace, order something festive and take a photo of the official toast. To the guest of honour!
Cheese shop hunt
Find a cheese shop (Old Amsterdam, Henri Willig, Gouda specialist). Take a group photo at the counter or with a cheese sample in hand.
Cherry tree pose
D.C. is famous for its 3,000+ cherry trees gifted by Japan in 1912. Find a cherry tree (or any blossoming tree, or the Tidal Basin) and take a group photo with everyone striking a delicate, photogenic pose under the branches.
Chicago local guide
Convince a real Chicagoan to share one favourite neighbourhood, hidden gem or strong opinion. Take a photo with your impromptu city guide and remember the tip.
Chocolate shop window
Belgium = chocolate. Find a chocolatier window (Pierre Marcolini, Mary, Neuhaus, anywhere). Take a team photo of the most photogenic display.
Chopin pose
In Lazienki Park stands the famous Chopin monument. Take a team photo where one member poses as Chopin (eyes closed, head tilted, hand on chest, listening to imaginary music).
Christiansborg parliament pose
In front of Christiansborg (which houses the Danish Parliament): take a group photo where everyone strikes a serious politician handshake pose.
Cicchetti bar
Find a bacaro (cicchetti bar - tiny snacks on bread). Order a few and take a group photo of the spread on the bar.
Citadel view
From the Burcht you have the most beautiful view of Leiden. Climb to the top and take a group photo with the rooftops of the city behind you. Everyone must be clearly in frame.
City of Light coronation
Today the guest of honour is the star of the City of Light. Crown them with a sash, tiara or glowing accessory (lights, glow sticks, anything goes) and take a photo of the official coronation, ideally with a hip Eindhoven backdrop.
City of stars kick-off
The hunt begins! Find a typical LA backdrop (a palm tree, a pink wall, a vintage convertible) and take a group photo where everyone jumps in the air. Everyone off the ground or it does not count.
Closes hunt
Edinburgh's Old Town is full of "closes" (narrow alleys). Find one with a name carved above the entrance and take a team photo inside it.
Cloth Hall walk-through
Walk through the Sukiennice (Cloth Hall) in the middle of the square. Take a team photo at one of the stalls with souvenirs in shot.
Coat of arms or symbol
Town halls, gates and old buildings often have a coat of arms (a shield with symbols) or the town's emblem. Find one and photograph it.
Cobblestones or old paving
Find a street or square with old cobblestones, brick paving or worn-down stones (not modern asphalt). Take a photo from above so the pattern is clear.
Cocktail in hand
You can legally walk the Strip with a cocktail. Get yardstick drinks, slushies or fancy cocktails for the team and take a photo of the official toast with the bride centred. The bigger the glass, the better.
Coffee crawl
Seattle has more coffee shops per capita than almost any city in the US. Pick any independent coffee shop (not a chain) and take a group photo at the counter or with your drinks raised, with the shop's name visible.
Coffee for two
Make coffee for yourself and offer one to a colleague. Whether they accept or politely refuse, photograph the two cups. The gesture counts.
Coffee headquarters
Find the main coffee setup: machine, grinder, milk frother, the lot. Photograph all the equipment in one shot.
