The hoop pass
Stand in a circle and hold hands. Hang a hoop (or a jacket or scarf knotted into a ring) over two arms. Send the hoop one full lap around the circle without anyone letting go of hands: you have to step through it with your body. Record a video of the hoop making its lap.
The human knot
Stand in a circle, shoulder to shoulder. Everyone grabs one hand from two different people, not the person next to you. Now there is a knot. Untangle it back into an open circle without ever letting go of a hand. Record a video of the moment you work your way out of it.
The human machine
Build one big machine using the whole team, where each person is a moving part: a turning cog, a lever going up and down, a steam whistle that toots. Each part makes its own sound. Record a video of the machine running for a few seconds.
The iconic spot
Go to (or recreate) the spot that was iconic for your class: the corner of the schoolyard, the classroom, the spot by the main entrance. Take a group photo there.
The improvised flag
Build a makeshift "cohort flag" or symbol from whatever office supplies you can find: tape, paper, sticky notes, a chair. Take a photo of the cohort with it.
The intern desk
Photograph the desk you have been parked at. Note: it is unlikely to be your forever desk. Treasure the temporary chaos.
The intro chant
Come up with a short chant or a few-line song for your group. Record a video of all of you performing it together.
The intro conga line
Form a conga line with your group and make a lap down the street or across the square, hands on the shoulders of the person in front of you. Record a video of it.
The joke petition
The team writes a funny fake petition titled "You are not allowed to leave" and has everyone sign it. Take a photo of the petition full of signatures.
The last high-five round
The leaver gives everyone in a line one last high-five. Record a video of the whole row of high-fives in one go.
The least-office outfit
Find the colleague wearing the least office-like outfit today: a loud shirt, a silly hat, sneakers with a suit. Take a head-to-toe photo of the outfit.
The lineup
As a cohort, line up in order of birth month without saying a word. Take a photo of the result. Argue afterwards.
The lip-sync moment
A group does a lip-sync of one line of a well-known song, complete with air guitar or a microphone fist. Record a short video of it.
The listening moment
During a speech, take a photo of the audience listening intently, faces full of attention in frame.
The living logo
Use the bodies of the whole team to form your company logo, or a well-known logo everyone recognizes. Lie down or stand in the right shape. Take a photo from above (from a stairwell, balcony or chair) so the logo is recognizable.
The long-distance traveller
Find the person who now lives the furthest away from here. Take a photo together and write down how many miles they travelled for this reunion.
The lounge
Find the most "lived-in" spot in the office: couch corner, kitchen, table tennis room, whatever passes for a lounge here. Take a photo of yourself in full relax mode.
The lunch tax
Pay the unwritten "intern tax": eat lunch with people you have not met yet. Take a photo of the table (food, faces, awkwardness all welcome).
The magazine cover
A group poses as a magazine cover. Come up with a title for the magazine, write it on a note and keep it in frame. Take a photo that genuinely looks like a cover.
The main square
Almost every old town has a central square where things have been happening for centuries. Find it and take a team photo right in the middle of it.
The map
Find the floor plan, building map or fire safety diagram. Photograph it. If there is no map, sketch your own and photograph that.
The message banner
Have as many guests as possible write a short wish and their name on one big sheet, banner or board. Take a photo of the filled-up banner.
The name sprint
Stand in a circle. Each person in turn says their name plus the names of everyone who has gone before, getting faster each time. Record a video of the round until the last person has to recite every name.
The name suggestion
Write your favourite baby name suggestion big on a board or note. Take a photo of it. It might just win.
