The Strip is much longer than it looks: about four miles from the Welcome sign to the Stratosphere, with another two miles up to Fremont Street. Most groups walk the central stretch from the Bellagio to Paris Las Vegas (it is the most photogenic section), then rideshare to the Welcome sign and Fremont. The monorail covers the central Strip if heels become a problem.

Start there for the photo, then walk or ride north past Mandalay Bay toward the Bellagio. If your hotel is at the north end, do the Strip in reverse and save the Welcome sign for the finale.
