[Customize!] Family fact
A question specifically about your own family. (Organizers: come up with a question, e.g. "What year did grandpa and grandma get married?" or "What was the name of the dog we had when we were little?", and add the answer.)
At the table
The moment everyone is seated at the table (lunch, coffee, cake, picnic). Take a photo from above with all the faces and all the food in it.
Family guessing game
Everyone grabs something they have on them (sunglasses, a bracelet, a hat, a phone) and lays it in a row. Take a photo. Who belongs to what?
Family hug
Everyone in one big family hug. Photo from above if you can, otherwise just from the side.
Family legend
Ask the oldest person of the day for a family anecdote or an old story you did not know yet. Record a short video of them telling the shortest version of it.
Family resemblance
Find two family members who look alike (siblings, parent and child, nephew and uncle). Take a photo of them side by side so the resemblance shows.
Family slogan
Come up with a family slogan of at most five words together. Write it on a note, paper or in the sand. Take a photo of it.
Game break
Play something together for a moment: cards, frisbee, a ball game, a made-up game. Take a photo of the game in full swing.
Generations in a row
Line the family up in order of age, youngest to oldest. Take a photo of it. Everyone can help work out who stands where.
Grown-up pose
The opposite challenge: the kids pose exactly the way their parents normally pose. Arms crossed, thoughtful look, coffee or phone in hand. Photo.
Jump shot
Everyone who can jump, jumps at the same time. Anyone who would rather not can stand on a step, a chair or someone's hips. Photo of the whole family in mid-air.
Kick-off family selfie
The whole family in one photo, nobody allowed to be missing. Someone has to stretch their arm or set the timer.
Kids in charge
Take a photo where the kids pose as if they are the bosses of the adults. Pointing fingers, stern faces, adults looking sheepish.
Kitchen crew
Take a photo of the family making something together: a snack, a picnic, a quick salad, a pot of coffee. The mess and the teamwork count.
Oldest and youngest
Photo of the oldest and the youngest family member together. Bonus if they pose hand in hand.
The nicest spot
Find the nicest spot of the day together (a view, a tree, a garden, a window) and take a family photo there.
Walking shot
On the move: a photo of the family during a walk. From above, from behind or from the side, not a classic group photo.
