Kids Birthday Scavenger Hunt
Turn a kids birthday party into an active scavenger hunt for the birthday child and their friends. Designed for ages around 8 to 12. Works at home, in the park or around the neighborhood. Customize the [Customize!] challenges with things the birthday child loves.

Group photo with the birthday star
The kick-off! Take a group photo with the birthday child right in the middle. Everyone smiling, nobody looking away.
The wish pose
Take a photo of the birthday child making a wish: eyes closed, hands clasped, thinking of something really good.
Build the tallest tower
Using things you find nearby (books, cushions, chairs, plastic cups), build the tallest tower you can. Take a photo with your team next to your masterpiece.
Dress-up dash
Everyone finds one silly item of clothing to put on within two minutes: a hat, a scarf, sunglasses, a weird T-shirt. Take a group photo with the whole gang dressed up.
Human pyramid
Build a human pyramid with your group. Two levels already counts. Take a photo of the moment just before it collapses.
Red finds red
Within two minutes, find three red objects. Lay them side by side and take a photo. No using plastic tomatoes that happened to be lying there, you really have to go and find them.
Round-thing hunt
Find three different round objects. A ball, a plate, a button, a clock, anything with a wheel: it all counts. Take a photo with the three side by side.
Hero photo
Take a photo where everyone poses as if you are superheroes or world-savers. Capes, fists in the air, brave looks.
King or queen of the day
The birthday child is the boss today. Make a (paper) crown and place it on the birthday child's head. Take a photo with the whole group bowing.
Mirror image photo
Two people stand facing each other and copy each other exactly: same arms, same face. Someone else takes the photo.
Secret handshake
Invent a secret handshake of at least four steps together. Practice it, then record a video where it goes perfectly in one go.
Jump trick
Take a photo where everyone jumps into the air at the same time. Everyone has to be off the ground or it does not count. Count to three and hop.
Biggest smile photo
Take a photo with the biggest smiles you have. Teeth out, eyes scrunched up, that kind of smile.
Final hug with the birthday star
Final challenge! Everyone around the birthday child for a big group hug. Take a photo from above if you can, otherwise just from the front.
