What kind of experience are you looking for?
The conga line
Form a conga line with at least eight colleagues and make a lap around the space, hands on the shoulders of the person in front of you. Record a video of the line on the move.
The congratulations message
A small group delivers a short congratulations or toast for the guest of honour, straight into the camera. Record a video of it.
The cool corner
Find the unofficial "cool" hangout spot in the office: the right couch, the right kitchen, the table everyone gravitates to. Take a photo of yourself there.
The cosiest terrace
Find the terrace that breathes the most atmosphere. Photograph the table with your food and drinks on it, from your seat.
The cross-department handshake
Two colleagues from different departments invent a secret handshake of at least four steps. Practice it, then record a video where it goes perfectly in one take.
The Cube Houses
Somewhere in the centre of Rotterdam stand houses shaped like cubes tilted on poles, one of the most bizarre buildings in the Netherlands. Find them and take a creative group photo where you pose as angularly as possible yourselves.
The Cube spin
Near State and North University stands "Endover", a black steel cube balanced on a corner that spins when you push it. Take a group photo with the team mid-push, spinning the Cube.
The dance
The guest of honour on the dance floor with the guests around them. Record a short video of the dance moment.
The dance battle
Two colleagues face off in a few-second dance-off while the rest stand around cheering. Record a video of the duel.
The decoration corner
Find the nicest corner of the decorations (balloons, garlands, the theme of the day) and take an atmospheric photo of it.
The diaper speed test
Who can change a stuffed animal or doll into a diaper the fastest? Record a video of the attempt against the clock, including the panic at the end.
The fake meeting
Put a group around a table in an over-the-top serious fake meeting: notepads out, pointing fingers, deep frowns, someone half-standing to write on an imaginary whiteboard. Take a photo that looks like the most important meeting of the year.
The far-flung desk
Find the desk furthest from your own. Photograph it (or photograph the route it took to get there). Imagine the daily commute.
The farewell board
Have as many colleagues as possible write a short message and their name on one big farewell board or sheet. Take a photo of the filled-up board.
The farewell gift
Take a photo of the leaver at the moment the farewell gift is handed over, with a genuine reaction. The moment itself, not posed in advance.
The farewell group photo
Final challenge: one big group photo with the whole team and the leaver in the middle. Find a high spot or climb up somewhere for the overview.
The forgotten name
Ask someone whose name you genuinely forgot what they are called again. Take a photo together and admit you had lost it. Everyone does it, nobody will hold it against you.
The fullest high table
How many colleagues can you squeeze around a single high table without anyone dropping out? Take a photo of the packed table.
The gift moment
Take a photo of the guest of honour at the moment a gift or token is handed over, with a genuine reaction. Not posed in advance, but the moment itself.
The gift unwrapping moment
Take a photo of the parents-to-be at the moment they unwrap a gift, with a genuine reaction. The moment itself, not posed in advance.
The group creation
Together, build a recognizable shape or artwork on the ground from things you find on the spot: jackets, bags, chairs, leaves, shoes. A big heart, a star, an animal. Take a photo from above so the shape is clearly visible.
The group name reveal
Come up with a group name for intro week. Write it big and legible and take a photo of the whole group holding up the name.
The guard of honour
The whole team forms two rows for the leaver to walk through, with applause and cheering. Record a video of the walk through the guard of honour.
The hidden skill
One team member shows a talent the rest of the team genuinely did not know about: a tongue roll, a dance move, juggling, a bird call, a strange joint trick. Record a short video of the talent in action.
