Frequently asked questions
The duration is up to the organizer when they set up the adventure. As a guideline, a focused day across Plaka, Syntagma, the Acropolis area and Monastiraki ticks off most of the easy items, and stretching the game across a weekend lets a determined group complete all 30.
Each of the 30 items is a camera challenge. When you spot the thing, take a photo and submit it; the bingo card tracks progress. Play solo, with friends or split into teams and race to tick off the most items.
Some items (Evzone hourly change, certain Acropolis angles) need timing. Sweep Plaka and Monastiraki for the easy items, Syntagma for the Evzones (on the hour) and the Acropolis approaches for the great views.
Plaka, Monastiraki and Syntagma hit the most items in a walking loop. Add the Acropolis area (south slopes, Areopagus, Lycabettus for the view) and Psiri for the street art. Anafiotika is a tiny Cycladic village inside the city.
Yes. Kids love spotting Evzones, olive trees, gyros and stray cats; adults enjoy hunting columns, mosaics, ouzo glasses and tavernas. No alcohol stops are required.
