Frequently asked questions
The duration is up to the organizer when they set up the adventure. As a guideline, a focused day across the Altstadt (Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt), the Englischer Garten and a beer-hall stop ticks off most of the easy items, and stretching across a weekend lets a determined group complete all 30.
Each of the 30 items is a camera challenge. When you spot the thing, take a photo and submit it; the bingo card tracks progress. Play solo, with friends or split into teams and race to tick off the most items.
Some items (Eisbach surfer, Lederhosen on a real Bayern fan) need timing or a specific spot. Sweep Marienplatz and the Altstadt for the easy items, the Englischer Garten for the surfer wave, Hofbräuhaus for the beer hall, BMW Welt for the cars.
The Altstadt (Marienplatz, Viktualienmarkt, Hofbräuhaus) hits the most items. Add the Englischer Garten for the surfer and biergarten, Schwabing for cafés and BMW Welt or the Olympia Park for the harder items.
Yes. Kids love spotting the Glockenspiel, pretzels, the Eisbach surfer and BMW; adults enjoy hunting Weißwurst, Lederhosen and the beer halls. No alcohol stops are required.
