Frequently asked questions
The duration is up to the organizer when they set up the adventure. As a guideline, a focused day across Queenstown waterfront, the gondola base, the Kawarau Bungy and Arrowtown ticks off most of the easy items, and stretching across a weekend lets a determined group complete all 30.
Each of the 30 items is a camera challenge. When you spot the thing, take a photo and submit it; the bingo card tracks progress. Play solo, with friends or split into teams and race to tick off the most items.
Some items (a bungy jumper at Kawarau, an Earnslaw departure) need timing. Sweep the waterfront for the easy items, the Skyline gondola base for the high-altitude items, Kawarau Bridge for the bungy.
The waterfront, Steamer Wharf and the gondola base hit the most items. Add a drive to Kawarau Bridge for the bungy and Arrowtown for the gold-rush heritage, the Remarkables ridgeline for the panorama.
Yes. Kids love spotting the gondola, jet boats, the Earnslaw and Fergburger queue; adults enjoy hunting Pinot Noir, mountain views and bungy bridges. No alcohol stops are required.
