Frequently asked questions
The duration is up to the organizer when they set up the adventure. As a guideline, a focused day across the Dom Tower, Oudegracht and Neude ticks off most of the easy items, and stretching across a weekend (with the Rietveld Schröder House and the Spoorwegmuseum) lets a determined group complete all 30.
Each of the 30 items is a camera challenge. When you spot the thing, take a photo and submit it; the bingo card tracks progress. Play solo, with friends or split into teams and race to tick off the most items.
Some items (a wharf-cellar bar in action, a Rietveld facade) need a detour. Sweep the Dom and Oudegracht for the easy items, the Neude and Vredenburg for squares, the Wittevrouwen and Sterrenwijk for residential charm.
The Dom Tower and the Oudegracht hit the most items in a walking loop. Add the Neude, Vredenburg, the Domplein for the church, the Spoorwegmuseum and the Rietveld Schröder House to the east for the modern items.
Yes. Kids love spotting the Dom Tower, canal boats and the Miffy (Nijntje) statue; adults enjoy hunting wharf-cellar cafés, Rietveld design and Dutch bakeries. No alcohol stops are required.
